Mary Kogut-Lowell, J.D., M.B.A., M.A.
Mary an attorney at Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, where her practice focuses on nonprofit and small businesses and nonprofit housing developers. She is a member of the Florida and Michigan Bars and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan, the Middle District of Florida, and the Southern District of Florida.
Having owned, managed, and practiced in private law firms for many years, Mary has extensive experience in business law, management, contracts, and commercial litigation. She also worked as in-house counsel at a major airline.
Before joining Community Legal Services, Mary was the Director of Justice Programs at a state-certified domestic violence center, where she managed multiple programs designed to address the legal needs of survivors of domestic violence. She also served as the Managing Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit at the Florida Department of Children and Families.
In addition to practicing law, Mary enjoys teaching. She has taught in the Graduate School of Business at the University of Florida, and at the Florida A&M University College of Law, Barry Law School, the University of Michigan, and Valencia College.
