Wynnora (Wendy) Wilson, ESQ.
Wynnora (Wendy) Wilson is an attorney with Legal Aid Service of Broward County, Inc. and leads the firms efforts with the FCDL Project. Wendy has nearly thirty years of experience in real estate law and her practice is focused on affordable housing and community development law. She represents nonprofit affordable developers in Broward County with a variety of construction, financing and general real estate and corporate issues, drawing upon her previous real estate and corporate experience with several large and medium-sized law firms based in Miami, Fl.
Immediately prior to transferring to community development law, Ms. Wilson “proudly served those who served” for three (3) years as an attorney with the Mission United Supportive Services for Veteran Families program of the United Way of Broward County and LASBC. Through the SSVF program, Ms. Wilson assisted nearly 400 veterans and their families with a variety of housing issues such as evictions, foreclosures, unsafe living conditions, subsidized housing, VA loans, security deposit disputes, Fair Housing Act violations and consumer credit. While working with the SSVF program, Wendy spoke regularly to groups on issues relating to VA Loans and landlord/tenant issues.
Wendy was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida and received her B.S. magna cum laude from Florida State University and her J.D. with honors from the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida where she was a member of the University of Florida Law Review and a Legal Research and Writing Fellowship Instructor.
Wendy is also a Florida Supreme Court certified Circuit-Civil Mediator, a Qualified Arbitrator and a licensed real estate salesperson.
