Anna-Bo Emmanuel, ESQ.

Anna‐Bo Emmanuel is a Staff Attorney at Legal Services of Greater Miami (“LSGMI”), where she works in the Community and Economic Development Unit. She represents eligible small businesses and non‐profit organizations in Overtown, providing them with a full range of transactional services on real estate matters, joint venture agreements, contract services, intellectual property needs, and more. Anna‐Bo is the co‐founder and current leader of the Miami Opportunity Zones Working Group which is focused on facilitating opportunity zone investments in eligible local small businesses. Ms. Emmanuel frequently co‐counsels with the Florida Community Development Legal team at LSGMI, on a variety of community development legal issues, including affordable housing matters, and just completed her LL.M. in Real
Estate and Property Development at the University of Miami.

Ms. Emmanuel is a Class VIII member of the Miami Fellows and has served as a Peer Collaborator for the Mandela Washington Fellows Program. She is currently the District 8 appointee on the Miami Dade County Citizens Advisory Committee for the General Obligations Bond Program and served as a member of the 2017 Miami Dade Charter Review Task Force. Ms. Emmanuel is also active with local voluntary bar associations including the Caribbean Bar Association, Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association, and the Miami‐Dade Chapter of FAWL. In 2016 she was recognized by Legacy Magazine as one
of Miami’s 40 Under 40 Black Leaders of Today and Tomorrow.
